Inhabiting a series of intimate rooms located beneath beautiful vaulted ceilings, Essensia is a unique dining destination. Enjoying a chic minimalist feel with cream walls and lightly coloured floors, the elegant décor provides the perfect backdrop for Executive Chef Jiří Štift’s enticing menu.
Offering guests a choice of authentically prepared Asian classics alongside a selection of delicious local dishes, Essensia promises an unforgettable dining experience. Inspired by Mandarin Oriental’s rich heritage, Chef Štift brings the best of the Asian continent to the table with dishes like Phad Thai, Vietnamese Pho soup and Japanese sashimi. We also feature several vegetarian options and a range of Indian Tandoori specialities, as well as Asian and Czech tasting menus.
Adjoining the main dining room, Essensia has a private dining room for up to 23 guests, and an outdoor terrace, which is open during the summer months. An atmospheric wine cellar has seating for up to 16 guests and can be reserved for wine tastings, small cocktail parties and private dining.
