El Camaleon Mayakoba Golf Course
This 7,020-yard course works with the landscape; the fairways are lined with mangroves, jungle and sand dunes. The natural landscape inevitably provides the many challenges of the course dotted with cenotes and clear water lagoons. Established as a world class course, El Camaleon was host to the PGA Tour’s first official event in Mexico, in February 2007, the Mayakoba Classic. It is located just five minutes from our resort. There are several alternative nearby courses including Playacar Golf Club, an 18 hole, par 72 championship golf course designed by Robert Von Hagge located 15 minutes from the resort and the Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course in Cancun.
