Getting to the Spa

Some suites on the resort are a long way from the spa, please allow yourself plenty of time to get to the Spa or contact our concierge to arrange a pickup in advance. As a courtesy to subsequent guests, all treatments will finish on time.

Your Spa Visit

Advance Bookings

Advance booking is highly recommended to ensure that your preferred time and service is available.

Cancelling Appointments

Cancellations made within 24 hours of scheduled appointment time will be charged at 50%. Cancellations made within 12 hours of scheduled appointment time will be charged at 100%.

Spa Packages

A number of specially created Spa packages are available, including refreshments; please contact the Spa concierge for more detailed information.

Gift Certificates

In search of the perfect gift? Purchase Spa certificates in any denomination and let the bearer of your generous gift choose from our menu of irresistible treatments and full or half day programs.

Spa Arrival

First time guests are encouraged to arrive at the Spa one hour before the scheduled start of their first treatment. Returning guests are encouraged to arrive a minimum of 30 minutes before the start of their first treatment.

Age Requirements

The Spa is designed as an oasis for adult guests. We are delighted to welcome young adults over 16 to use the pool, salon and fitness facilities but all other services are for over 18’s only.

Spa Etiquette

Our spa is designed to offer an environment of tranquility and relaxation please respect all spa guests right to privacy and serenity.

Health Considerations

Please advise us of any health concerns, allergies or injuries that could affect your Spa experience.

Pregnancy

We have specially designed treatments for expectant mothers. Please allow us to guide you in selecting which treatments are most suitable and beneficial at this special time.

Loss or Damage

The Spa at Mandarin Oriental Riviera Maya cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to personal items. Please secure all valuables in the safe located within your suite. Lockers are provided for clothing and personal effects.

Accidents or Injuries

The Spa at Mandarin Oriental Riviera Maya shall not be liable for any accident or injury suffered by a guest.

Restrictions

The use of alcohol or drugs will not enhance any experience in the spa. Please do not use the facilities if under the influence of either. The spa is a no smoking area.

Refund Policy

Unopened retail products may be exchanged for alternative options within 15 days of purchase.

Gratuities and Service Charges

A service charge will be added to the bill of guests taking paid treatments and services. Additional gratuities are not expected.
