Unwinding is what Sanya is all about. Sure, you could rent a car, but you can have a personal driver for about the same cost. And yes, you could take a bus, but our private beach is just footsteps away. In Sanya, getting around is no problem, but finding a reason to leave your lounge chair might be.
Buses are available in Sanya, although visitors might find the erratic schedule and poor vehicle condition hard going. A better option is to keep your eyes peeled for the occasional double-decker tourist bus that runs from Yalong Bay to The End of the Earth. (See Things to Do and See).
Our secluded beach might seem a world away from everything, but a leisurely fifteen-minute stroll along the seaside will bring you to Dadonghai’s main shopping, entertainment and recreation district.
Taxis are available in Sanya, but drivers will only speak Mandarin and will expect to negotiate the fare before setting off. Our staff will happily help you to communicate with taxi drivers; otherwise, we recommend that guests take advantage of our car service or motorized “rickshaws.” Please see below.
From luxury limousines to multi-purpose vehicles, our fleet fills every transportation need. Sightseers should try our specially made motorizes “rickshaws” which are ideal for visiting nearby points of interest. Hourly rental fees range from USD 50-70, depending on vehicle type.
Our modern fleet of limousines, multipurpose vehicles and luxury coaches provide the most reliable form of transportation for our guests. The journey from Sanya International Phoenix Airport will take about 20 minutes. One-way transfers cost USD 60-100, depending on vehicle choice.
Although taxis are available at the airport, non-Chinese-speaking passengers will find communication difficult. Fares should be negotiated at the start of the journey.
Foreign visitors cannot hires cars without a valid Chinese driving license.
