Luhuitou Golf Course is just five minutes by car from Sanya city centre. Set along a southerly stretch of coastline, Luhuitou Golf Course was designed by Mr. Nelson Haworsh of N&H, an American golf design company. It is an 18-hole 72-par golf course with a total course length of 7,310 yards. A beautiful links course, it is characterized by undulating fairways and immaculate greens.

Sun Valley Golf Course is another masterpiece by Hong Kong Donson International Development after their Lotus Hill Golf Resort in Guangzhou. Located in Yalong Bay, the course is designed by JMP, a prestigious golf course design company, and covering an area of 130 hectares, the 72 par course offers stunning landscapes of lakes and mountains. The course features the only par 6 hole in China and has won numerous awards since opening, including ‘Best Mountain Course’ by China Golf in 2009.

Elegantly designed by American design company Schmidt-Curley, the Dragon Golf Club is conveniently located just 15 minutes away from Sanya city centre, where the entire 72 par course has been built around the mountain tops. Surrounded by verdant tropical forests, lush grass and beautiful lakes, the cleverly designed fairways have been blended in to the natural topography of the valley.

The 1st 18 Holes of Yalong Bay Golf Club was designed and built by the Robert Trent Jones Design Company in accordance with PGA standards. The course was designed in the classic links style, with tricky sea breezes and tropical surroundings.The 7,189 yard, 18-hole design (nine floodlit) covers an area of 120,000 square meters. It is dotted with 98 strategically positioned bunkers, and streaked with a winding river. Each hole has five teeing areas, and with its large stretches of grass, the course, shaped like a dragon’s claw, is surrounded by adjacent green hills and the beautiful Yalong Bay, all combining to form a breathtaking landscape.
