Climate
Tokyo has four distinct seasons. The summer months, June, July and August can be fairly hot and very humid; temperatures rise up to 32 degrees Celsius or 90 degrees Farenheit. Summer has a rainy season which lasts around one month from mid July. Winter temperatures are around 5 to 10 degrees Celsius 41 to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Your most likely sight of snow would be from Mandarin Oriental with views towards the peak of Mount Fuji.
The most pleasant times to visit the city are spring and autumn. Spring has the unique beauty of the cherry blossom season. The 1,100 cherry trees in Ueno Park burst into bloom late March for a splendid two weeks. The eleven varieties of blossom are fragrant by day and illuminated by night, a sight worth capturing.
