Our event spaces present an opportunity to absorb the city’s cultural heritage in carefully preserved historic spaces within the Mitsui Main Building, while enjoying the cutting edge surroundings of our contemporary tower.
Our state-of-the-art technology offers completely unique production effects for your presentation.
The Grand Ballroom on the 3rd floor of our modern tower can be divided in three and has two waiting rooms, approximately 40 square metres each, for VIP speakers or a base for event organisers. A 200 square metre foyer makes an excellent pre-function reception space.
The exceptional asset of this room is the 360°projection, 36 computers are skilfully handled by our professional colleagues, enabling you to completely personalise the entire space with photography or film.
Concealed ceiling speakers provide superb surround sound.
As one of the few surviving historic buildings in the city centre, the Mitsui Main Building has been carefully preserved as part of the national heritage, offering delegates a rare opportunity to contemplate some of Tokyo’s past.
All of these spaces have the advantage of natural light. Each has a built-in screen from 80” to 100”. Located next to each other they are easily reserved in combination.
Linden
The largest banquet venue within the Mitsui Main Building offers a spacious entrance hall and VIP waiting room.
The Alder Room
The second largest of the banquet rooms has a generous entrance suite. Walnut wainscoting recalls its early Showa origins.
Oak Room
The irreplaceable floor-to-ceiling walnut panelling and black and marble skirting are just as they first appeared in 1929.
Boardrooms
Nine individual spaces with natural light, built in screens and flexible room layout; they are ideal for private dining events, executive meetings or a series of one-on-one’s.
An ultra modern space highly suitable for creative events: An interior of wood, stone and water provides a natural, Zen-like template for your imagination. A spacious foyer has a similarly naturalistic atmosphere planted with leafy bamboo trees.
The event space can be lit up with over 200 colour effects. The acoustics are superb, and there is a stage, which is surrounded by flowing water; this room lends itself to musical performances, luxury product launches, public relation events as well as social cocktail parties.
Guests overlook the soaring four floored Atrium, creating an amazing ambiance of space and natural daylight.
