The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Tokyo features an extraordinary design bringing in the view at every opportunity, this can be particularly enjoyed in a journey through our spectacular heat and water facilities.
The vitality and tonic pools relieve muscle tension, the crystal steam room offers a warming meditative experience and a splash from the ice fountain provides a toning refresher.
The experience is complimentary for all spa guests, however for hotel guests who wish to use only the aqua facilities there is a charge of JPY 6,000 for 60 minutes and advance booking is required.

A proven anti-ageing facial, combining Swiss Perfection’s skin technology with a lifting and refining treatment. Using an ATS (Anti-Ageing Trans-Dermal System) aesthetic machine and a cellular active collagen mask, this facial produces results that are designed to exceed expectations.

Using the exceptionally effective Swiss Perfection serum containing potent vitamin C and combined with extensive massage lifting, this treatment is amongst the most popular facials. Mandarin Oriental’s signature spa therapies have been devised to address guests’ increasing desire for simple, effective and authentic spa experiences.
Developed in consultation with specialists in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and master aromatherapists, each signature therapy consists of a relaxing, hands-on body massage ritual that combines the powerful effects of oriental meridian massage with the therapeutic benefits of custom-blended essential oils, created uniquely for Mandarin Oriental. Each treatment begins with a private therapist consultation in order to determine each individual’s personal and current state of wellbeing. Four hands work in perfect unison in a remarkable experience that inspires a harmony of the senses. The treatment begins with a soothing foot bath in purifying waters, leaving them soft and supple and the mind relaxed. Next two therapists correspond in time and movement, first providing a warm scrub that smoothes and replenishes the skin, and later a harmonious synchronised treatment that balances the body. The treatment concludes with both head and feet being treated simultaneously. The mind is uplifted, the body is energised and the skin is left exotically fragrant.

A shiatsu-inspired form of the ancient Japanese treatment, designed to impart a healthy balance upon the mind, body and spirit. The main feature, a large amethyst crystal, is known for its healing properties to ease headaches and migraines, release tension and increase concentration.
