Our 1,400 square foot state-of-the-art fitness center is equipped with a full range of TechnoGym training equipment, including both cardiovascular and resistance machines. As well as stationary bicycles, cross trainers and treadmills, we also offer guests the use of ab stations and free weights up to 50 lbs.
Our 50-foot indoor lap pool is heated to an inviting temperature and surrounded by relaxing chairs and loungers. Float on your back and be impressed by the unusual artwork suspended from the ceiling, which makes reference to the Smithsonian Kite festival held every year during the National Cherry Blossom Festival.

We offer private one-on-one classes in your guestroom or the peaceful surroundings of our garden, during which your teacher will guide you through a series of poses and deep breathing exercises. These will help increase your strength, flexibility and focus. One-on-one sessions end with a soothing, stress relieving meditation.

The first session will consist of a thorough fitness assessment and evaluation, followed by an introduction to strength, flexibility, cardiovascular training and basic nutrition. This workout is designed to train you in both mental and physical fitness, incorporating hand-eye coordination, flexibility, strength and balance. Using mainly cardio drills and upper and lower body shaping and toning, each session ends with breathing exercises and visualization.
