It’s not glamorous but our conference-level loading bay and the logistical prospects can actually provoke tears of relief from an Event Planner. Major equipment and staging can be wheeled directly into our ballroom.

Our conference organisers have international experience and are able to provide imaginative proposals from car launches in our gardens, a cirque de soleil performance in the ballroom and 3-D personalised branding projections. Our hotel is a modern construction incorporating the most advanced technology for first class events. Within our ballroom is a load bearing ceiling with hang points for technical equipment, ensuring major audio visual staging looks discreet and seamless. There are a number of branding opportunities available such as projections outside the ballroom entrance and an LCD panel for logos and agendas.

Our responsive staff members are all on Blackberry for immediate contact and our events concierge is waiting to impress you, so if there’s anything you need to make your event run even more smoothly there is always someone to respond.

Loading Bay on conference level

Our large loading bay can accommodate up to three lorries and has direct access to the ballrooms.

Event Concierge

Beyond our event managers, you will have daily contact with our event concierge who will be ready to assist with last minute requirements.

All our event staff carry Blackberries for immediate response on technology, catering or whatever you need.

Arena Room

Private ‘green room’ for Event Planners to manage proceedings, fully equipped with well stocked refrigerator, vital stationery, refreshments, private restrooms and walk in closet.

Meeting Planner Survival Kit

While on site, each Event Planner will receive our complimentary Asian lacquer box filled with essentials you may have forgotten.

Secretarial Services

Dedicated administrative services will be provided at an additional cost. Non-dedicated services are provided through the Business Center.

Internet Access

Standard and wireless high-speed Internet access is available in all meeting rooms with advance notice.

Newspapers

The Washington Post is distributed to guestrooms daily. Bulk delivery of other newspapers is available for groups at an additional cost.

Meeting Room Set-up

Pads, pencils, water and mints are standard for meeting room set-ups.

Credit Cards

All major credit cards are accepted including American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club, Carte Blanche and Discover.

Foreign Currency

Foreign currency can be exchanged for up to USD 250 per day.
