New Resident Trichologist At The Mandarin Salon Reveals Secrets Of Healthy Hair

Hong Kong, 15 May 2018 – Busy lifestyles mean many people suffer from hair and scalp problems. The Mandarin Salon at Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong has a new resident trichologist, Andrea Clark, available to assist.

Awarded her trichologist qualification by The International Association of Trichologists, Clark has more than 30 years of experience in the hair industry, including eleven years as artistic director of The Mandarin Salon. Over the years, she has worked closely with Philip Kingsley, the leading authority in hair and scalp health, addressing concerns of hair thinning, post-pregnancy hair loss, psoriasis and dermatitis.

“Hair is like a barometer and can indicate changes in our health. A fast-paced lifestyle, poor nutrition and stressful situations, can all affect the hair and cause a change in appearance, which in turn creates more stress,” said Clark.

Clark offers one-on-one consultations, during which she examines a guest’s hair and scalp and takes into consideration their lifestyle choices, stress levels, nutrition, and genetics before making recommendations to guide them along a path to healthy hair.

Clark’s 60-minute private consultation is priced at HKD1,250, and a 30-minute follow-up session held within the next six months is priced at HKD700. To make the most of the consultation with Andrea, and everything else the hotel has to offer, guests can book the Bed and Breakfast room package, with rates starting from HKD 4,280 per room per night.

Room rates include daily breakfast for up to two people and 10% service charge and are available year-round. For further information and reservations, visit mandarinoriental.com/hongkong.
