Hong Kong, 15 June 2015 - The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Paris launches its brand new Zen & the City wellness programme on 5 September 2015. This holistic “happy hour” was designed in collaboration with American wellness consultant and journalist, Rebecca Leffler, to provide Parisians and visitors with a welcome pause after a long workday or busy day of shopping.
Designed to balance mind and body, the Zen & The City programme begins with a 30-minute private yoga class for a personalised body and soul workout followed by 30-minute body or face massage in The Spa. Soothing scents by Aromatherapy Associates accentuate the effects of the yoga classes and spa treatments, which are adapted to each individual to relax all five senses. Once fully relaxed and rejuvenated, guests are invited to savour a light, healthy snack prepared by executive chef, Thierry Marx, and a “green and glam smoothie” packed with superfoods and seasonal produce created by Rebecca Leffler.
“The Mandarin Oriental, Paris is the most green, glam and gourmet hotel in the city” says Rebecca Leffler, author of best-selling book, Green, Glam & Gourmande, “I’m thrilled to collaborate with the Spa on this unique and innovative programme. We wanted to offer some Zen-en-Seine to Parisians and hotel guests who no longer need to choose between traditional aperitifs, a trip to the gym and a moment of relaxation.”
Rebecca Leffler is Mandarin Oriental, Paris’s first wellness concierge. Her focus on healthy, delicious and easy to make recipes, yoga, beauty tips and positive playlists all encompass The Spa’s holistic approach to wellness.
