Zdeněk Křížek

Chef Zdeněk Křížek first discovered Asian cuisine whilst working at Hotel Jalta in Prague. It was here that he fell in love with the Japanese speciality teppanyaki, which is prepared using a barbecue grill in front of guests. After four years, Chef Křížek moved to Boscolo Hotels where he honed his culinary skills for another three years, before joining Mandarin Oriental, Prague in 2006.

Over the last decade, Chef Křížek has gained valuable experience and a deep insight into Asian cuisine from time spent at our hotels in China, Malaysia and Japan.

Accompanying Chef Zdeněk Křížek in the kitchen, sous chef Ondřej Hutník has also travelled widely throughout Asia. Using their unique knowledge and skills, the culinary team are proud to bring authentic Asian flavours to the table.
