We offer extensive heat experiences with separate areas for the male and female guests, so depending on your comfort level you may or may not pack a swimsuit to use while in this pretreatment area.
Use of the heat and water experience is included with all spa services, and guests are encouraged to arrive 45 minutes prior to their scheduled treatment time. Early arrival also permits you to have time to use the Zen Relaxation room. The relaxation area is set up with lounge chairs and refreshments. The room is used to soothe the body and mind before and after treatments.

Developed in consultation with specialists in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and master aromatherapists, each signature therapy consists of a relaxing, hands-on body massage ritual that combines the powerful effects of oriental meridian massage with the therapeutic benefits of custom-blended essential oils, created uniquely for Mandarin Oriental. Four hands work in perfect unison in a remarkable experience that inspires a harmony of the senses. The treatment begins with a soothing foot bath in purifying waters, leaving the feet soft and supple and the mind relaxed. Next two therapists work together in time and movement. Traditional Thai Massage is a healing art that has been practiced in Thailand for 2,500 years. This treatment aligns the energy of both mind and body. It is recommended for those with chronic pain and tension. The treatment begins by releasing blockage of negative energy. Meditation and controlled breathing assist the therapist in promoting the healing process. By combining Yoga stretches with muscle manipulation, the flexibility of the body will be greatly increased.
Cherry Blossom Ritual

The Cherry Blossom Ritual begins with a foot ritual followed by a cherry scrub which is high in antioxidants to help strengthen the immune system and also removes dead skin cells and stimulates circulation. Amethyst Crystal Steam Room with Aromatherapy

Maintained at a temperature of 42-45 °C, moist aromatic heat with heated floors, walls and seats are provided. The main feature, a large amethyst crystal, is known for its healing properties to ease headaches and migraines, release tension and increase concentration. The body is warmed slowly and continuously, reaching the inner body and organs. The room has an aroma injection, Eucalyptus or Lemongrass which has a refreshing effect on the entire body. Consult your physician about your safety and comfort before using the steam bath. Limit your use of steam to 10-15 minutes until you are certain of your body’s reaction. A cooling shower spay can be used simultaneously with the steam bath to assist in regulating your body temperature. If you are pregnant, or have high blood pressure, the steam bath is not recommended.
