December 4-11 Miami Art Week

Each year, during the first week of December, Miami plays host to several of the most prestigious art fairs in the world. With Art Miami and Art Basel serving as the two anchor fairs alongside several additional satellite fairs, the Magic City morphs into a playground for art lovers and social aficionados alike.

Thousands of artists from around the globe including masters of modern and contemporary art, as well as the new generation of emerging stars, put forward their work in front of over 50,000 visitors including the art world’s top curators, museums and collectors via the anchor fairs and accompanying fairs including: Context Art Miami, Red Dot Miami, Scope Miami Beach, Spectrum Miami, Aqua Art Miami and more.

Mandarin Oriental, Miami is delighted to present an exciting art installation in honor of Miami Art Week 2018 curated by David Kratz, President of the New York Academy of Art and Brooke Shields, American actress and model and New York Academy of Art trustee. The installation Real Men will be on display throughout the Lobby from December 3 through December 7. Works of art from MFA (Masters of Fine Arts) alumni will be featured, and proceeds from art work sold will go towards scholarships to the world-renowned art school.
