The restaurant’s name, Liang, translates to the beam of light reflected by the moon in Chinese. Emphasizing the Moon as a key symbol in both cultures, the restaurant’s name aims to celebrate the connection between Qatari and Chinese tradition.

Designed with refined simplicity, Liang reflects the Group’s distinctive Asian aesthetic and thoughtful approach to design. Guided by Executive Chef Thomas Fong Chin Fan and the talented culinary team, the restaurant showcases authentic Cantonese favourites alongside select regional dishes from across China, each crafted with precision, seasonality, and deep respect for culinary heritage.
