Scented Stories: The Perfume Museum
Discover one of Doha’s hidden cultural gems at The Perfume Museum, opened in 2021 after years of thoughtful curation. The museum showcases the private collection of Reem Abu Issa, tracing more than two centuries of olfactory heritage through rare and historically significant bottles from the 1800s and 1900s. The displays highlight exquisite craftsmanship, whimsical designs, and timeless icons from renowned houses such as Chanel and Guerlain, alongside treasures reflecting both European artistry and Arabian heritage.
Beyond perfume bottles, the collection also features early cosmetics including kohls, powders, compacts, and lipsticks, revealing the evolution of beauty and design over time.
