Mandarin Oriental Cake Shop presents an exquisite selection of handcrafted breads, French-style viennoiserie, signature pastries, artisanal chocolates and celebration cakes, created under the direction of Executive Pastry Chef Alexandre Thabard.
Drawing on his Parisian training at Maison Lenôtre and a reverence for exceptional ingredients, Chef Thabard interprets the Cake Shop’s much-loved repertoire with precision, finesse and a quietly progressive spirit.
Seasonal collections, bespoke cakes and the legendary 1963 Mandarin Cheesecake honour the Cake Shop’s enduring heritage, while reflecting the craftsmanship, creativity and meticulous attention to detail that have established it as a cherished Hong Kong institution for generations. The reimagined Cake Shop now also introduces an elevated dining space, inviting guests to savour its creations in a more immersive and refined setting.
