We can confirm that following Hurricane Beryl, the powerful category-4 storm which impacted Canouan Island on 1 July, all guests and colleagues are safe and are in good care.

While we are currently in the process of assessing any potential storm damage to the resort and Canouan Island, our top priority is mobilizing relief efforts to assist our colleagues and their families with health and safety essentials. Resort updates will be provided in due course.

Our hearts go out to all those affected by this devastating storm. As always, the comfort, safety, and health of Mandarin Oriental’s guests and colleagues is our primary concern. We will continue to collaborate with the local authorities, assist wellbeing measures, and provide updates as they are available.
