The Festive Season

For 115 years, Mandarin Oriental Lutetia, Paris, one of the most emblematic and prestigious Parisian grand hotels, has witnessed countless moments of sharing and emotion that create the irreplaceable memories of its visitors.

 

This year, the Festive celebrations at Lutetia will once again be synonymous with joy, magic and wonder. The hotel’s teams have imagined a series of unique events and experiences that will delight all guests; with gourmet holiday menus, seasonal pastries, special treatments at the Akasha Spa, and exclusive shopping experiences, all will be able to celebrate the end of the year in their own way, entirely within the elegant setting and warm spirit for which the hotel is renowned for.
An original dome-shaped Christmas Light Yule log

Christmas Light Yule Log

Pastry Chef Nicolas Guercio unveils this year’s enchanting and indulgent Light Yule log. A true pastry masterpiece, this original dome-shaped creation reinterprets the traditional Christmas log.

 

An elegant and poetic creation, it combines a grapefruit biscuit, an infusion of organic Nepalese black tea, and a smooth Tahitian vanilla mousse, encasing a vibrant citrus compote blending candied grapefruit peel, bergamot confit, and Buddha’s hand marinated in vanilla.

 

The whole is crowned by a delicate white chocolate dome, finely adorned with copper-toned lithophane motifs of Paris. Thanks to its built-in light, the Yule log illuminates and reveals a magical theater where the City of Light comes to life.

Throughout the month of December, Le Saint-Germain will be offering a festive Afternoon Tea created by Pastry Chef Nicolas Guercio, to be enjoyed under its spectacularly coloured glass ceiling, for a warm and gourmet interlude in the heart of winter.

 

Afternoon Tea : EUR 85 per person / with a glass of Champagne EUR 105.

 

Available from 22 November 2025 to 4 January 2026 (Saturday and Sunday).
