For all-day dining and delicious cocktails, it just has to be MO Bar. Located on the ground floor of the hotel, MO Bar is one of Hong Kong’s hottest dining and drinking spots.

Specialising in fresh, organic food, we open for a la carte & set breakfast at 8am, featuring Asian delights and American classics. For lunch we offer both à la carte and set menus featuring mouth-watering dishes and a delectable array of desserts. In the afternoon, MO Bar offers a unique selection of sandwiches and pastries accompanied by luxury teas. Evening sees the atmosphere change as MO Bar turns into a sophisticated nightspot with cocktails and dining.

Being the curator of sensational music events, MO Bar has one of the greatest sound system in Asia.  Immerse in the exciting live DJ tunes as each one of them offers their own distinctive musical direction. Keep an eye on MO Sound-bites DJ series and unplugged concerts where international electronic musicians and singers take the stage of MO Bar for captivating performances. Performed artists include Autograf, Be Svendsen, Gilles Peterson, Lianne La Havas, Yuna, Alicia Keys and Bebel Gilberto.

Our Sustainability Efforts

When MO Bar opened its doors in 2005, sustainability was an unfamiliar subject to most. However, with the vision and the leadership of our Director of Culinary Operations and Food and Beverage, Richard Ekkebus, we set new standards in our operations to ensure that we minimise our harm to the planet, by reducing our environmental footprint and maximising our social impact.

At MO Bar, we set a mission to bring the best food, drinks and music to the Hong Kong bar scene while remaining faithful to our social and environmental responsibilities. Sustainability is, quite simply, part of our DNA.

From the get-go, this included such initiatives as serving only sustainable seafood, and supporting charities with causes close to our hearts. Today, we have constructive, meaningful practices in place focusing on ways to minimise waste, reduce single-use plastic and limit our carbon footprint.

Food Made Good Hong Kong

To further improve our practices, in 2021 we started working with ‘Food Made Good Hong Kong’, an organisation that provides foodservice businesses with manageable means of understanding, reviewing, and acting on the issues that matter. Within this framework, ten major areas of sustainability are divided under three pillars: Society, Sourcing, and Environment. Accountability is key – our efforts are audited yearly to help us create a clear plan of action for continuous improvement.

Being a member of Food Made Good Hong Kong, MO Bar participates in a bi-annual evaluation of our sustainability practices called the Food Made Good Hong Kong Rating. The Rating is a survey capturing our activity across the three pillars of sustainability: Sourcing, Society & Environment. Once the survey is completed, a percentage score is calculated for each key area, and the overall sustainability score is an average of those percentages. Subject to this score, a business may achieve one, two, three, or no stars (committed). In 2021, MO Bar achieves 3-star rating.

Award Recognition

Restaurants that have achieved an outstanding score in the Food Made Good Hong Kong rating are eligible to be nominated for their awards.

In 2021, MO Bar was nominated and shortlisted in the categories of Business of the Year and Society.


Dress code: Guests in comfortable attire are welcomed throughout the day. After 5pm, ladies are kindly asked to dress elegantly and wear proper footwear. Gentlemen are kindly asked to wear closed shoes at all times with a smart shirt.
