Sertifikasi Kami

The VERIFIED™ Responsible Hospitality badge earned by Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich

We have officially been recognised by The Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) as a certified hotel, acknowledging our journey to sustainability. As the importance of sustainability in luxury tourism continues to grow, achieving and proudly displaying such certification is a clear affirmation of our dedication to sustainability.

Dampak Kolektif Kami

Luxury today is about responsibility, honouring the cultures and communities we serve, while preserving the natural environments we operate in, and leaving a positive legacy for future generations.

Responsibility for Our Planet

We are proud to uphold the highest ethical and environmental standards, collaborating with sustainable producers to minimise waste and eliminate plastic and non-recyclable materials. Our heat recovery system uses chiller-generated heat to preheat water. Our facilities use 100% LED lighting and we utilise drip irrigation and automatic taps in public bathrooms to reduce water consumption.

Responsibility for Our Guests

We proudly source the finest, traceable ingredients with integrity, including sustainably sourced seafood, cage-free eggs, and fair-trade products. Our menus feature vegan and vegetarian options. We encourage sustainable practices during guests’ stay and offer electric vehicule transportation, city transportation alternatives, running routes, and personal training sessions upon request.

Responsibility for Our Community

Mandarin Oriental encourages all colleagues to dedicate one paid day each year to a charity of their choice. Since 2025, we have been supporting the Make-A-Wish Foundation Switzerland, helping to grant wishes for children living with critical illnesses. Through this initiative, we strive to bring these children strength, hope and joy during challenging times, while making a meaningful difference in their lives.
