By making a booking or otherwise using the restaurant services, you confirm your agreement to MOHG’s Privacy Policy and you consent to the processing of your personal information by MOHG, including the collection, retention and usage of your name, contact details, other personal information (which may include sensitive data, e.g. medical conditions), transaction data and demographics (“PI”) in order for MOHG to provide you with the requested services. You have the right to request access to, correction and deletion of, and withdrawal of your consent to processing of, your PI by contacting MOHG’s Data Privacy Officer by email at or by post at 8th Floor, One Island East, Taikoo Place, 18 Westlands Road, Quarry Bay, Hong Kong. Any PI you supply is voluntary but if you choose not to supply your PI then you may not be able to access or obtain the services requested. For the purposes of providing you with such services, MOHG will share your PI with MOHG’s global network of companies and the service providers that assist MOHG with administering your PI, which may be transferred to, processed in and stored at a country outside your country of residence (including outside the EU/EEA). For any online reservations, please note that a third party vendor’s applicable terms will apply.

Located on the ground floor, adjacent to the lobby, The Jade Lounge is an elegant all-day lounge. Benefitting from lots of natural daylight and atmospherically lit at night, The Jade Lounge provides a sophisticated spot in which to enjoy traditional afternoon tea and exquisite pastries, complemented by a fine selection of European and Chinese teas.

Dress code: We respectfully inform our guests that the hotel has a smart elegant dress code. For gentlemen, collared shirts and covered shoes. For ladies, smart elegant attire.  Slippers are not appropriate in the dining room.

Child policy: We welcome children who are 12 and above to dine with us.

Special note: A minimum spending of TWD 1,350, subject to 10% service charge, is applied during the afternoon tea time.

Special Announcement: In light of the outbreak of Covid-19, please note that Mandarin Oriental, Taipei (the “Hotel”) reserves the right to refuse restaurant patronage, cancel or modify existing reservations at its sole discretion for any reason, including if a guest (or any co-guests and invitees) has a recorded body temperature of over 37.3°C (99.1°F), and/or displays symptoms of novel coronavirus, or in the Hotel’s determination, creates risks to other guests and employees of the Hotel.

In addition, the validity of The Jade Lounge dining vouchers purchased during the 2019 Taipei International Travel Fair, and other online channels, will be extended to 30 June 2021. Please feel free to redeem your vouchers prior to the expiration date, or use them as cash value equivalents when you dine at other operating restaurants including Bencotto, Ya Ge, M.O. Bar and The Mandarin Cake Shop. Otherwise, you may proceed to apply for a refund. To proceed with a voucher refund, kindly email your name, contact phone number and voucher serial number to, and we will gladly assist you. Blackout dates are 8 to 9 August, 25 August, 24 to 25 December, 31 December 2020 and 1 January, 10 to 16 February and 8 to 9 May 2021.
