For Chef de Cuisine Dario Moresco, passion for the kitchen is deeply rooted in his Italian heritage. Growing up in the coastal city of Genoa, his culinary journey began at home, learning the secrets of authentic flavours from his grandmother. Today, that lifelong love affair with food takes center stage at ORSINI, the signature Italian fine-dining experience at Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich. Set within a historic 14th-century building that pays homage to the noble Italian Orsini family, the restaurant serves as a canvas for Chef Moresco’s creativity. Together with his talented team — including Sous Chef Gianmarco D’Alonzo — he masterfully reinterprets authentic Italian culinary traditions with a contemporary, international twist, using only the finest local and Italian ingredients.
