Magical Moments

Christmas Market

 

You can find anything in our little market: crafts, churros with chocolate, mulled wine, gingerbread cookies, garlands, lights, elves, illusion... In other words, Christmas. Come and discover everything we have in the Mandarin Oriental Christmas Market and, perhaps, you will have the magical opportunity to share your shopping time with Santa Claus. Additionally, he has placed one of his mailboxes in the Christmas Market so that no one is left without sending their letter.

 

From 9 to 22 December. Monday to Friday from 4 to 8pm / Saturday and Sunday from 12 to 8pm


Santa’s Kitchen

 

It has become a tradition for Santa Claus to stay at Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona in the days leading up to Christmas Eve. He is so comfortable here that this year he has even asked us to have his own kitchen and has brought his own utensils from home! We have placed the kitchen in the Mimosa Garden, next to the Christmas Market that he loves so much. Do you want to discover how he makes his gingerbread cookies, what his favourite dish is, or where he keeps his family recipes? Come and find out! Ah, and if you happen to see him when you visit the kitchen, don't be shy: he'll be very happy to see you.

The Wishing Tree

 

Like every year, in collaboration with the Fundación Soñar Despierto and “Llar Nova Esperança” association, we have created a Wishing Tree with the letters that children from shelters in Catalonia have written to Santa Claus and the Three Wise Men. Come and read the letters and help us make their wishes come true. From 9 December 2022 to 5 January 2023.
