远足于马来西亚森林研究所 (FRIM) 主园区的自然小径，是备受游客喜爱的热门活动之一。

 

这条小径全长仅约1公里，地势平缓绵延，便于通行，您可漫步于能够追溯至20世纪20年代的人造林之间。经验丰富的自然导游将与您同行，共度两小时休闲漫步，您可在此期间听取关于马来西亚葱郁热带生态系统的精彩讲解。在旅途中，游客将邂逅一片片用材树、多种多样的动植物，以及富于洞见的科教站点，其内容凸显了森林保护的重要性。

 

小径的亮点之一便是壮观的树冠羞避现象。冰片香 (Dryobalanops aromatica) 树冠上的枝条彼此避让，形成了精致的天空图形，颇为引人入胜。小径沿途分布着多种具备重要商业价值的用材树，尤其是龙脑香科的树种，其中还包括标志性的马来西亚国树——印茄树 (Intsia palembanica)。
