自然步道

徒步穿越馬來西亞森林研究院 (FRIM) 主院區的自然步道是備受遊客歡迎的活動之一。

 

此步道全長僅 1 公里，平緩易行，蜿蜒穿過一片可追溯到 1920 年代的人造森林。遊客可與經驗豐富的大自然嚮導一同完成 2 小時徒步之旅，在輕鬆愜意的氛圍中探索馬拉西亞蔥鬱又迷人的熱帶生態系統。沿途，遊客可以看到各種木材樹種和豐富多樣的動植物，並在途中的教學點獲取寶貴知識，了解森林保護的重要意義。

 

這條步道的一大亮點是奇妙的樹冠羞避現象：在冰片香樹冠生長期間，枝幹會互相避開，形成向天空延展的複雜圖案，令人目眩神迷。步道兩旁還生長著各種具有重要商業價值的木材樹種，尤其是龍腦香科的樹木，以及獲認定為馬來西亞國樹的知名樹木印茄樹。
