Founded by David Linley in 1985, the nephew of the late Queen Elizabeth II, Linley has a world-renowned reputation for fusing striking design with exemplary craftsmanship. Though it began modestly, it created an immediate stir, not least because David was the son of Princess Margaret and celebrated photographer, Lord Snowdon. The British public had never seen a member of the royal family in a vocation - making with their own hands and serving customers - so in the 1980s that was revolutionary.
Craftmanship with Linley experience is complimentary and will take place at the Linley Store, 60 Pimlico Road, London, SW1W 8LP. Open daily from 10 am until 5 pm. The team requires 48 hours in advance to meet with Anna, Linley’s showroom manager and at least 10 days’ notice is required to meet with Jackie, Linley’s Head of Bespoke.
