Day one

Kickstart your day

Get energised for the day with a Switch class at smart TORQ studio, which is just a short walk from The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong. Using a combination of TRX, kettlebells, free weights and sand bags, this intense circuit class gives an all-body workout.

Do something different

There’s nothing like heading for a hike to find a fresh perspective on life, and the hour-long walk from HKU station to Victoria Peak is no exception. At the top you’ll be rewarded by astonishing views of the Hong Kong skyline. While you’re here, add to the Zen factor by stopping in to locals’ favourite, tea shop Hung Fook Tong for a bowl of ‘Leung Cha’ Chinese herbal tea.

Settle into stillness

Soothe any post-hike aches away with an indulgent signature Oriental Essence Massage at The Oriental Spa at The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong. Custom-blended oils and movements inspired by traditional therapies are used to relax the entire body with a focus on the back, neck and shoulders.

Day two

Kickstart your day

Love yoga, but want to try something different? Pool Fit Mat classes involve a mix of high-intensity and relaxing yoga poses, all on a floating platform, at the calming indoor pool at The Oriental Spa at The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong. It’s a refreshing way to start the day, and a great workout for your core, too.

Do something different

Tai Tam Bay is a must-see for any visitor, and the best way to explore its glittering waters is on a thrilling sea kayaking adventure with Sea Kayak Hong Kong. Each Monday and Tuesday, trips begin at an old fishing village below the Tai Tam Reservoir, and follow a 10km route passing beaches, temples and waterfalls.

Setlle into stillness

Continue along the watery theme but slow the pace right down with a relaxing session in a sensory deprivation tank. Head to Float Co. in Mid-Levels, and switch off from the outside world as you float in water filled with epsom salt and magnesium.

Day three

Kickstart your day

The best way to hone your Pilates technique is a one-on-one session. During a private class at The Oriental Spa an expert will make sure you’re getting the most from the experience, and guide you through reformer machines and a gyrotonic pulley tower if you want to up your game.

Do something different

Hong Kong can feel frenetic, but on an Eat, Bike, Love cycling tour with Running Panda you’ll whizz along quiet, picturesque riverfront trails in the New Territories. Make pit stops as you go to sample the best of the local cuisine.

Settle into stillness

Round things off with a unique gong relaxation experience at Red Doors Studio. Locals head here to find harmony in these meditative sessions where ‘bathing’ in the sound of gongs allows prana – or positive life force – to move throughout the body.
