In coastal towns and river communities, the fish motif held additional meaning - representing harmony with nature, hopes for safe fishing voyages, and gratitude for the sea’s bounty.Fish lantern making is a calming, hands-on experience. Shaping the frame, adding bright colours, and painting the details all feel creative and satisfying. When the lantern finally lights up, the soft glow brings a sense of pride and a touch of magic to the finished work.
