Explore the history and culture of African Americans with a private tour guide

You will be escorted through Washington D.C. exploring the history and heritage of African Americans. Led by your private tour guide Andrew Davenport, currently completing his PhD in African American history at Georgetown University, this inspiring and information packed tour begins at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial followed by a scenic walk to the Lincoln Memorial and reflecting pool. The itinerary proceeds to the National Museum of African American History and Culture in which you are professionally guided through its world-famous exhibits. To conclude the day, guests will explore Black Lives Matter Plaza and the surrounding neighborhood, the center of protests in the summer of 2020 and remaining a living testament to First Amendment freedoms.
