Mandarin Oriental, Washington D.C. is proud to welcome back Master Sushi Chef Minoru Ogawa with his omakase-style, eight-seat sushi counter. With the opening of Mini Sushi Bar, Ogawa, who served as the hotel’s sushi chef from 2006 to 2011, returns home with his unmatched skillset and passion for his craft.

Located just off the lobby and overlooking the property’s lush garden, Mini Sushi Bar gives diners an interactive dining experience unlike anything else in Southwest DC. Patrons will embark on a gastronomical journey in an upscale dining environment, featuring a clean and minimalist design that is reminiscent of a traditional Japanese sushi counter.
