Bangkok is home to 12 highly individual restaurants and bar including much-loved classics and two-Michelin-starred French restaurants, Le Normandie by Alain Roux. Thai delicacies can be enjoyed at Baan Phraya and Chinese treats at The China House. Lord Jim's, fondly referred to as Bangkok's meeting place, tempts guests with seafood and prime cut meats, whilst Kinu by Takagi offers guests refined Kaiseki dining in an intimate setting.
Built in 1876, The Oriental’s legendary journey started in the historic Authors' Wing. Today guests can savour the hotel’s famed afternoon tea in The Authors’ Lounge.
Dedicated event managers tailor each event to guest specifications, from personalised menus to creative designs in the hotel’s versatile event rooms. The hotel’s Royal Ballroom has played host to some of society’s grandest weddings for up to 800 guests, whilst other rooms provide the perfect setting for business meetings for up to 350 people.
