By making a booking or otherwise using the restaurant services, you confirm your agreement to MOHG’s Privacy Policy and you consent to the processing of your personal information by MOHG, including the collection, retention and usage of your name, contact details, other personal information (which may include sensitive data, e.g. medical conditions), transaction data and demographics (“PI”) in order for MOHG to provide you with the requested services. You have the right to request access to, correction and deletion of, and withdrawal of your consent to processing of, your PI by contacting MOHG’s Data Privacy Officer by email at dataprivacyofficer@mohg.com or by post at 8th Floor, One Island East, Taikoo Place, 18 Westlands Road, Quarry Bay, Hong Kong. Any PI you supply is voluntary but if you choose not to supply your PI then you may not be able to access or obtain the services requested. French Mediterranean with surprising layers of flavours

Guests can enjoy Mediterranean dishes inspired by Chef Izu Ani’s travels around Spain, France, England and the Middle East. Ideal for sharing, the menu showcases a modern interpretation of distinct Mediterranean culinary styles to create simple and honest tastes.

Chef Izu lives by the ethos that life is not about ownership, and says:

“Everything is learned and borrowed and when one learns that nothing belongs to us, you can consider having learned only a small proportion of what there is to learn in life.”

Stavros Chatziantoniou is the Chef de Cuisine at IZU. He met Chef Izu Ani in Santorini, Greece, where they both worked at a boutique hotel several years ago. Chef Stavros then moved to the UK to work alongside Chef Izu, whom he regards as a role model and inspiration for his positive work ethic. Continuing their culinary journey together, they have bonded through their passion for using honest, simple and best-quality ingredients to create dishes bursting with layers of flavours.

Facing the beautiful Barahat Msheireb town square, the restaurant features three seating areas, comprising an indoor ground floor, outdoor terrace and a mezzanine level. The mezzanine at IZU is inspired by the deck of a dhow boat and influenced by local surroundings.
