Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque

An architectural masterpiece of stunning Islamic architecture and design, the inspiring Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is one of the world’s largest mosques. It was built by Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the Founder of the UAE, to create a cultural haven that welcomes and inspires people from all backgrounds and cultures.

Standing more than 100 metres high, in addition to the iconic prayer hall, this must-visit boasts the world's largest hand-woven carpet, white marble domes, 82 reflective pools, columns embedded with amethyst and jasper and breath-taking marble mosaic artworks.

An open-door policy encourages global visitors, from solo travellers to groups and families, to not only witness its beauty but also gain a deeper understanding of the emirate’s culture of open dialogue.
