Wine Salon 2026 – A Journey with Our Exceptional Sommeliers

Mandarin Oriental, Tokyo invites you to join The Wine Salon, an exclusive series crafted by our award-winning sommeliers. In 2026, Wine Salon offers four captivating programmes, namely Wine Spectrum, The Essence of Champagne in first half of the year, followed by Wine Odyssey and The Grower and The Land in second half of the year. Each chapter comprises five immersive sessions designed to inspire exploration, deepen appreciation, and celebrate the artistry of wine through a harmonious blend of flavour, aroma, and culinary excellence.

A course exploring the past, present, and future of Champagne through its remarkable journey.

The Grower and the Land
An exploratory course delving into the essence of Champagne through the eyes of artisans in harmony with the land, a continuation of The Essence of Champagne program.

Details of the Wine Salon

Expert Instructors:
These insightful sessions will be led by award-winning sommeliers from Mandarin Oriental, Tokyo: Akihiko Nosaka, Hiroki Ikeda, Daiki Suzuki, and Maika Yamamoto.

 

Location:
Private dining room at Sense, Cantonese Fine Dining.

 

Exclusive Benefits for Participants:

  • Dinner voucher for Sense: One JPY 35,000 dining voucher for Sense, course-menu with five wine pairings. A companion may join for a special price of JPY 22,000. The price is inclusive of tax and subject to service charge.
  • Participants can enjoy a short course-menu on the day of the session. A companion may also enjoy this offer for an additional charge.
  • Participants will receive special privileges for the 2027 Wine Program and exclusive wine events.

 

Important Notes:

  • The participation fee includes a tasting of 5–6 wines tailored to the theme of each session and one dish.
  • Each salon is limited to a maximum of 14 participants.
  • The Wine Salon is available in Japanese only.
  • The instructor for each session will be disclosed only to the participants.
  • The salon will be held at Sense, a Cantonese fine dining restaurant on the 37th floor.
  • Dress code is casual elegant.
  • The content, lecturers, and schedule of the salon are subject to change. Additionally, the event may be cancelled in the case of natural disasters, social conditions, or other unavoidable circumstances.
  • Once registration and payment are completed, class changes, transfers, or refunds are not permitted. Cancellations or transfers due to personal reasons after payment are also not allowed in principle.
